The Full Marathon Opening in 2011
Variety of Events: Run or Jog the Irish Multimarathon - 42.2km
The Irish Multimaraton Full Marathon is an out and back course taking in the Clontarf promenade - Bull Island – the causeway - continuing along the promenade to the Kilbarrack road where participants will retrace their footsteps back to the start/finish line.
Full Marathon participants will do this twice
The course Starts and Finishes at the wind monument in Clontarf, Dublin.
Please note we do not cater for Walkers on the Full Marathon course.

Race Day Timings – Sunday 28th June
Full Marathon Entrants are requested to be at the start area at 10.30am for a 11.00am start.

The dry clothes bag drop off point will be at the Starting Area.
Participants are requested to put their dry clothes bag* into the Bag Drop Pen. Please ensure your number is on the bag.
*A Dry clothes bag is provided at registration. Following finishing your run you may need to change clothes due to rain or sweating. Your dry bag should also contain a drink to rehydrate and perhaps a snack. Do not leave valuables in Dry Bag as Organisers cannot accept responsibility for lost or mislaid bags.

The Start of the Race – 11.00am
Athletes who are expecting to finish the race in under 2hours 40 mins are invited to come to the front for the Start of the race. There will be areas marked where athletes can place themselves according to ability. We kindly request that all participants will be courteous in allowing this to happen.
Pleas note: Walkers for the Half Marathon & Half Marathon Relay will be starting earlier at 10.20am to allow them to reach Bull Island in advance of the runners/joggers.
The Kids race will start at 11.10am once the 10am pack have cleared the start line.
